The Ruby Stanley One-Act Festival honors the late Ruby Stanley, a longtime Wilmington Drama League volunteer, board member, and costume mistress. This annual event showcases original one-act plays, often by local playwrights, in a two-day festival filled with creativity and community spirit. Audiences vote for their favorite play, and the winner advances to represent the Wilmington Drama League at the state, and potentially regional, level.
