Pillow Plays

Presented by kids, for kids, Pillow Plays are an excellent way to introduce your children to theatre, either as an actor or as an audience member!  Shows are enjoyed at 10am & 2pm in the lobby on the first Saturday of October, November, December, March, April, and May and are geared towards children ages 10 and under. Bring a pillow and join us!

Want to get your child involved in Pillow Plays? Check out the Audition Page to keep up-to-date on opportunities.

Jeff Walker Youth One-Act Festival

The Jeff Walker One Act Festival commemorates a rising young actor at the Drama League who tragically lost his life in a car accident at 17. It provides opportunities for over 100 area youth (ages 5– 18) from diverse backgrounds to learn, gain experience and participate in theatre by acting, directing, play-writing and filling technical roles. WDL holds open auditions.  All are then mentored throughout the summer by experienced volunteer adults, culminating in a juried one act festival each year which is open to the public without charge. These programs serve to introduce young people to the arts, improve self esteem, hone communication skills, and for some, open a potential career path.
